I am two thirds of he way through the my First Lady a Day series on my blog. Not too many more to go! I was hoping to find enough photos on line to get all the way to Jan 20, but it's looking dicey.

Oh, pooh, I have a First Lady Book with bios and photos but my scanner is broken.

I got Ida McKinley done this am. There is hope!

I am finding the Smithsonian is a bit cagey on their descriptions. Sometimes it actually is the inaugural dress in their collections, sometimes not. Usally they collect the first inaugural dress. With the older gowns, they are lucky to have anything.
