Type of Fur Collar on Hot Pink Velvet Coat ?

any help with the type of fur on this collar ? i think this is a 1950's or 1960's "princess" coat ?

the label is "Marguerite Rubel, San Francisco"

i just loveeeee the hot pink velvet !!

yes, thanks. I did puruse through the fur resource but not all types include photos...

I'll continue to review..and here's a shot of the back. i'll post a closer view of fur also
 
We've certainly had a string of Marguerite Rubels recently, it seems jewel tone velveteens were her favorite fabrics! This is the first fur trim one I've seen.
 
I've never seen a fur trimmed Rubel coat. Are you sure the fur collar is original to this coat? Check to see if it matches the lines of the coat collar underneath and how it it attached. The way the lapel is falling above the top button makes me suspect the fur collar was added.
 
yes, the fur collar was added. fox - ok !...i'll go read more about fox fur so I get educated.

I noticed Rubel is not in the label resource at all ...hummm. maybe we can get it added
