I looked through the fur resource but couldn't pinpoint which fur is this coat made from? Not a fur expert by any means, so any help would be appreciated!

we have a coat almost EXACTLY like this, and ours is faux fur. If the lining isn't sealed, you may be able to check the back side to see.
yours may be real, but i swear, it looks just like ours! ours is a crushed plush, and a synthetic faux fur combination.

That is a very pretty coat. I do agree with Mary though. The fur does look like an acrylic based faux fur. If you cannot see the hind side you can take a snippet from an inconspicuous area to do a burn test. If it is faux it will burn slow and smell like melting plastic.
