UK\'ers: Late Victorian/Edwardian petticoat needed!!

HELP!! I need a late Victorian/Edwardian petticoat for next Saturday!!

Do any UK'ers have one that I can buy? My corsetted waist is 25 1/2" so I need one with a 26" waist or bigger (not too big though). The length should be at the very least 36" as I'm 5'9" but 38"+ would be better because my skirt is 42" long.

I don't mind if it has a drawstring or a button waist. My skirt is ivory linen so light colors: white, light pink, etc would be good. I don't mind what material it is. No trained petticoats please as my skirt isn't trained.

Price range? Well it depends on what it is. Preferable not too expensive but it just depends on the petticoat.
I can pay with Paypal and for special delivery too.

Please let me know as I'm desperate here!

just a thought.....( i know its a long shot.. but might be worth a go )

are there any customers in the past that might have one... but potentially you could buy/borrow...

also i remeber a thread.. saying that sometimes museums sell off surplus items... are there any museums you can think of that might consider selling one to you..?

Naw, I can't remember who I sold stuff too and the only ones I have sold within the past year have been too short or too big in the waist for me (LOL, which is why I sold them). I wouldn't want to be responsible if I broke someone else's either.

Nope, no museums around here that are selling off anything. Museums in Leicestershire and Nottingham, tend to hoard things away for the public never to see again.

Lei, I rang you bac but you're not in. I have a few things at the antiques centre so will try and get there over the weekend.. although I have a feeling they are big so don't stop looking!

and about 6 weeks ago she had some Victorian underwear might be worth a phone call.
