unicorn 50s outfit?

Greetings all,
I have a two piece outfit that is really unique. It's got embroidered horses (more like unicorns with the sequins on their heads) all over the skirt, and along the neckline of the top. There are side metal zippers on both (painted, I guess), and there are little snapped straps inside the top to help it hang on the hangers. The top has two weights inside the front. Pinked seams. The material is wool and it's made by Heatherton. I've found one Heatherton piece, but it was 60s...Any help you can provide about this label or style is great! :puzzled: Thank you!!

You might want to rehem it prior to selling it, it should be a quick fix and those straps on the shoulders are to keep your bra strap hidden.
 
Thanks all! Well, i guess it's no earlier than 1949, that's when it was trademarked... like i was foolishly hoping. so sounds like 50s/60s- anyone ever heard of this brand, and does it say "torre"? I can't tell. Still open to ideas about this piece, it's like my creme de la creme!
