From what I've learned via Linn's workshop this is 1930s and it could be Little Nemo. Insert question mark though...it's unsigned so if it's not Little Nemo, what could it be?

Appreciate the help..and thanks, Linn, for your workshops here on jewelry.

Hey joules! How are you?!

Another find of my mom's. She's good huh? Yard sale queen.

It certainly has the look, doesn't it? Pretty!

Here's a photo gallery of Little Nemo multistone jewelry (especially look at the dress clip):

Also, I'm no expert on LN jewelry (ie whether they did pastel colorways like this), but I have found one piece myself where the stamp was so faint I practically missed it (it was the L/N mark).

Have you checked out the LN entry in Researching Costume Jewelry, and then really scrutinized the back of your piece with a loupe?

I *thought* I gave it a real good look with a loop but will again, with the markings site up. I really didn't see anything but... another look won't hurt.

Sure looks similar... Carrie, I really appreciate the links to see how it could be Nemo. Very interesting!

Hi -

I wouldn't attribute it to L/N - it imight be, but I don't think it has "that" look. I have an album of signed and unsigned piecs - some are attributions but feel free to take a look. Sorry I don't have photos of the backs. There were so many companies making dress clips in the '30's and the finding, while the same as in some Little Nemo pieces is very "PP" - which stands for Pure Providence (the Jewelry Capital of America back in the day.)

Here's my album:

Fascinating, Linn. I really appreciate seeing that album too.

So this could be representative of a few manufacturers' work, I take it. Wow. What knowledge you have!
