Hi All! I picked this little beauty up but do NOT know what to call it exactly?? Also - can anyone help with dating?? It is like a clutch wallet - but it has TWO coin purses on either side. The fabric feels like soft leather but there are no tags - so I don't know. The coin purses are lined in a GEORGEOUS silk/satin! It's all a bit fragile feeling too.....

Thanks!

Thanks! I LOVE It - it's so unique and pretty - I think I may keep it for myself ; )

I was wondering if there was a NAME for it - thanks for the dating help!

Thanks Marty - that makes sense too! Definitely has nylon zippers - and ID card slot - did they make those in the 70s?? The materials seem of a high quality and the pulls are actually little oval flat knobs that you have to lift up before you can open the purse......

Sorry I glossed over some details - thankfully, Marty came along!

Not too sure about your last question, but they did not dole out credit cards like they do today - more likely to have a change slot for emergencies.
