Upcoming: Shoe exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Starting later this month, the MFA in Boston is doing a museum-wide exhibit of shoes through the ages, with the shoes presented as artworks and juxtaposed to other items in the Museum's galleries.

I saw another in my MFA member brochure which juxtaposes a 90s Vivienne Westwood platform with a French or Dutch silk that has the same pattern as the shoe fabric.

Should be very interesting!

Yes, I can't wait for this one! My only concern is that the shoes will be scattered throughout the entire museum, rather than all in one gallery. I don't want to miss any, and its a big museum!
