Hi Everyone,

I'm posting this here becaue I know there are many animal lovers in this group. A friend recently consigned some things to me in order to help support a group of school children in Dalhart, Texas who started a no kill animal shelter in their little town.

These are great kids and they are really learning a lesson about humanity and caring through their good work! Even if you can only support them through an emailed "atta' boy" I think it would be good for them to know that their work is noticed and appreciated!

Yes, there are quite a few animal lovers here and more than one incolved in rescue or animal welfare.

Thanks for letting me know. I grew up in a dog rescue family and am involved myself. We have two dogs, and our younger of the two was adopted by us from a really great local rescue. We have the highest kill rate pound in the state or close to it and we are all doing our best to stop that both ways...public awareness of proper dog care,etc, and placement.

I applaud the efforts of this group...its an amazing story to remind us all that each person can make a difference no matter how young you are. Those kids are amazing! I have already passed the site on to others.

You mentioned that you had things consigned that benefitted the rescue...will they be on your website or ebay?
