Please help - I wish to upload images and I keep getting the following message -'The uploaded file does not have the required extension' my images are Jpeg format. Thanks.

are they too large perhaps...they should only be 500 x 500 pixels.

.jpg or .jpeg should work. If the images aren't too large (under 1mb and less than 750 x 750 pixels), it may be that your files are corrupted or have somehow lost their extension.
You could try upload them to another site, such as photobucket, and link to them using the tree icon.
