USPS January 22 2012 Changes

Absolute ouch. Selling online 10 years in Feb. and I may just be doing some shows this year.
Less and less wiggle room anymore.
 
Again! I love how we pay more money as the service gets crappier. My post office says they can't give reciepts for prepaid mail dropoff any more. Says that the post office cut that service because it was costing too much in reciept paper. I've gone back to hand addressing and paying at the window now as that is the only way I actually have proof that the package is in the hands of the post office. Last time I dropped a prepaid package in the mail drop, even though they're supposed to be scanned according to my postmaster general, it wasn't and it just disappeared. The tracking that was connected to it through PayPal and USPS meant nothing becuase it was never scanned at the post office before it was lost. It was as if I never dropped it off.

What sucks is that it's cheaper to pay for it online. The prices at the post office are more expensive.

I wish there was another way...
