My vintage dealer gave me this velour tracksuit in 2005 and said it's Juicy Couture before Juicy Couture. Am I sitting on a collector's item? The tag is light pink with black stitching. Looks like the Juicy logo at 1st glance, but doesn't say Juicy or P&G. What is this??

Hi there and thanks for posting! I love a good label mystery! This is NOT a juicy Couture tracksuit. This is a Sarah Johnson "JC Inspired" tracksuit circa around 2001 at the earliest. The text is actually her name, just barely legible. And the RN number matches with that company.

Hi! Thanks for posting. Juicy Couture started in the mid-90s in Los Angeles. All the original pieces (to my knowledge) are tagged Born in The Glamorous USA or Assembled in the USA.
I worked in the garment industry at that time and there was still lots of manufacturers based in the US. If the finished product was made in the USA, it would be very unlikely the samples / prototypes would be made somewhere else.
