velvet dress with embroidery

I love any kind of hostess dress in this style, and can never resist them. This one had a label but it's been cut out (looks like the remnant of a full size label not a union tag) I was curious about the lining which you can kind of see in the last pic. It has a rough feeling to it and is muslin like almost? sort of a net ish quality and yellowed a bit. Do you guys think 60s age wise? any ideas about the maker?

I would say early 60s on this one. Pretty color!

That looks like a sized interfacing used to give the skirt some body. I agree on 1960s, too. As to maker - without the label, it's almost impossible to say.
