Vera Pelle Jacket

I found this gorgeous jacket in my local charity shop, and I can't seem to find anywhere online the same jacket. I can find the black version but yet to find a tan one.
I'm just curious if it is a genuine item or a fake, or if anyone has anything similar.

A fabulous coat! "Vera pelle" means real leather in Italian, so that is not a brand name. The label that mentions the law from 1973 (I think it pertains to what needs to be declared on a care label) shows that it can't be older than 1973. That said, I think your coat looks late 70s.

I was also referring to that date on the label, but what it acutally says is "a norma delle legge no.883 del 26-11-1973" wich means "conforms to the law no. 833 from 26-11-1973". It turns up on a lot of Italian care label and can be a little misleading :).
