Victor Stiebel Opera Coat

I have picked up a green opera coat by Victor Stiebel for Jacqmar which I intended to wear but a quick search of the name tells me that it might have a value.

It is quite delicate and has a couple of areas of wear unfortunately, but it is absolutely stunning. Lovely bright shade of green, and a nice heavy fabric which feels gorgeous on.

Worth sticking on Ebay or hanging on to? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Suse

Hello!
Stiebel IS a v collectable label. (it may depend on where in the world you are, here in the UK at least) I've seen Stiebel garments do pretty well in auction in the past. He was the founding member of the Incorporated society of London Fashion designers. One of the big CC41 designers throughout the war (and after too).

Jacqmar were famous for their propaganda scarves particularly (do a search on google and you will see some, they are one of my biggest obsessions!)
Pics would be great to see!
