Victorian corset belt & Teens Silk coat help

somewhat recently I became interested in earlier garments and I have some questions about these 2 .First is a silk and lace belt (would that be the correct term?) and second, a long silk coat that I think is teens or earlier, also do you see "Titanic Era" in the coat? The back has a pleat behind each hip area, do you think for a bustle?? Most important: do you think the buttons are original? Sorry for the long post, I was hoping to list tonight.TIA!

The first is a Swiss belt. The coat is Late Edwardian - Teens and therefore too late for bustle. Bustle ends by 1890.

thanks Hollis, I should know better than to think Bustle *blush*. So the buttons "look right"?
Carrie: yes they are nice and in great shape, thanks.

What a gorgeous coat!!! Know little to nothing about clothing that travels that far back, but boy O boy, those are nice!

Great coat: lovely style. I wouldn't mind a modern version to get me through the winter. Lovely buttons, agree original. They look like mother of pearl, nice big and chunky.

The fabric is very light-weight silk (no lining) with the collar and cuffs being silk satin.
