Victorian Riding style hat wanted

Hi everybody, I have been on the lookout for one of these for a while. I have one that is velvet and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, but is in fragile condition and I'm scared to wear it too much.
I want one that is sturdy but does not need to be perfect as I plan to add antique trims. Velvet is preferred but wool or anything will do as long as it's black.
while I know these first came into fashion in Victorian times, I have seen similar styles into the 40's, so it does not matter to me, I'm just looking for this style.

Please let me know if you have one of these style hats. Here is a picture of a friend of mine in her vintage hat, the style I am looking for.

I am wondering if you should search for "doll hat." I have seen those tiny little top hats that perch back on your 'do listed as such. I don't have one, but maybe that would help, since it doesn't seem to be large enough to sit squarely on the head like a regular top hat.

Try youtube see if they have a tutorial in making one.I have used youtibe a bit for creating things ,did a mad hatter hat recently came out great.

Hi,

Well I have a quite a few antique riding hats, from real Victorian ones worn for actual riding, and up to the 1950's worn just for style, but can you give a bit more of the specifics of what you need?

As said previously, if it does not need to be vintage, there are options on Ebay and Etsy and tutorials on making them. If it has to be vintage, does it need to be the exact shape and size of the one shown in the photo? It looks to be a flat top derby that perches and tilts up on the head.

Any details and specifics you can give will be helpful as far as the material, the shape, and the head size.

Thanks...B
