Is there a test for vicuna, other than
feel? This coat is super soft and feels
much softer than any cashmere or
camel hair jackets I've had.

Here is the one and only label:

The tailoring is impecable - typical Hong
Kong attention to detail.

And what is with the short sleeves?

60s?

Here is a closeup of the fabric (I've searched and there is no fiber content
label anywhere). The lining is silk.

I want to list this as vicuna, but am
hesitant as there is no label.

Oh, I don't know this one Sue! I've been googling for a test though, and no one seems to have one.

I am probably too OTT about stuff but I did notice there are a number of hits returned for wool identification where you could send off a fibre sample to a lab and they would tell you for sure - if you wanted to list it without a shadow of doubt that might be a thought?

I'll see if I can find the link again for that.

Harriet, if you have the link that would be great! I would like to list this
as soon as possible, but am wondering if I should perhaps wait until
I can actually say what it is made of.
