Vintage accessories showcased on Bravo\'s The Fashion Show
I'm always up for a fashion design show, and have been watching the second season of The Fashion Show - changing out Kelly Rowland for Iman and toning down Isaac Mizrahi has helped a lot, although it still doesn't reach the bar set by Project Runway in its first few seasons.
Anyway, last night's episode started out at New York Vintage, a very high end vintage shop in Manhattan. Each of the 5 designers was given two vintage accessories from the shop and told to design a look featuring each one. Items ranged from a victorian cage bustle to a Judith Lieber pink pig purse, a Dior feathered capelet, a pair of black & white lantern-cuffed gloves that I could swear one or more of our VFG members have sold within the last few years.
Link to Bravo website in case you want to check out some photos. I couldn't find any close-up pics of the individual accessories.
