The other thing I found today that had me stumped was a vintage adidas track jacket - looks like 70s or 80s - with CANADA printed on the back, and the adidas trefoils titched on the front.
I grabed it at the Buy the Pound and one of the other dealers was drooling over it - very respectfully asked to see it out of my cart - and said he wasnt sure what it was, but it might be something good.
Again, I can post pics tomorrow once daylight allows!
I havent been able to google much about it.
It seems Adidas made some stuff in Canada - and also did some jackets for the Montreal olympics in 76 - but this doesnt quite look like those.
It is most definitely 70s or 80s and not a repro, the labels are very old.
Anyone know of an adidas expert or site I can post this on to find out what it was made for? I am guessing some sort of team jacket for a pan-am game or special olymics or some sort of not-quite-olympic-level sport?
