Vintage Barrettes - novelty or not, but plastic and colourful!

Visited the hairdressers yesterday and have been in a bit of a mood ever since as I feel a bit like Samson. My hair has gone from past elbow length to shoulder length... but I only asked for a trim! Think hairdresser was fed up as I was late getting across chaotic town at 9am, but anyway not to worry - it now means I can invest in lots of clippy things to keep it out of my eyes! The thought of shopping cheered me up :)

I love anything plastic or bakelite if it's colorful (green blue red are best, but anything will do), and I currently have a few 50s butterflies that I really like. I'll scan them later as an example, but if you have anything that fits the bill.. oh also rememner the circular plastic ones with transfers or moulded patterns on? Those too!

Post or u2u if you have anything! Thank you :D

Oh, I saw a bunch of these at the Liberty Show Friday and they were all on their original cardboard sleeves with really cool graphics. Sadly I didn't buy them all. I only bought one (for Doba).
I'll keep an eye out though.

Here they are. I don't know how old they are. The ones on the manni all have the metal back and one purple in the middle of the pile. You won't hurt my feelings if you don't like these. Might be a little too juvenile. I just picked them up for props.

(I tell you, that girl has the messiest hair..lol)
