Hi everybody,

I'm a new visitor to the VFG and am based in the U.K.

My main interest is vintage cardigans, mainly beaded & decorated tho all vintage cardis are fine by me.
I have about 20 or so in my collection & have just bought my 1st Dalton today. I'd like to hear from anyone who shares my passion & swop views etc.

hope to hear from you soon

Hello Edmundbuttons,

I share your interest in vintage embellished cardigans and have collected and sold for many years. I have several currently listed in my Etsy shop and will be listing more in the future.

Dalton is a great name in sweaters, as are Pringle, Ballantyne, and Hadley, as well as the hand beaded and/or embroidered cardigans from Hong Kong.

Welcome, Edmundbuttons!

Would love to see photos of your collection. Will you post some for us?

Vintage cardigans are one of the best vintage items to collect, as they are so useful. Dress them up or down, wear them nearly year round (especially if you're like me and get chilly even in the hot Atlanta summers!).

I know we have another Forum visitor who has an impressive collection of vintage sweaters. Does anyone recall her name?

Lindapoirier, she just showed a wash day drying line photo in another thread, collections look grand all displayed at once like that!

Would love to see pics!

Here are some of mine, just for show and tell...I love anything dripping in sequins and beads :)
But my favorite vintage cardigans are the ones with velvet trim or flowers.
I don't find them a lot but they are my all time fave.
