Vintage Celine shoes info please

I found these shoes at one of my favorite thrift stores...saw the label "Celine" and grabbed them without inspecting too closely while at the store.
Anyway, the only markings the shoes have are these numbers that appear to have been hand written.
And the label of course.
The label has trademark logo next to "Celine", but it doesn't have anything else, like made in France/Paris.
Any ideas what's with this pair, could they be a "sample" style, or a custom order?
The material and the quality seem very fine, soft leather etc.
All help appreciated!
:)

I don't believe your shoes are samples or a custom order, the numbers inside which refer to their manufacture used to be written by hand from when shoes were entirely hand made, it generally changes with manufacturing techniques to stamped numbers by the 70's, Celine *were* a premium brand certainly by the 1980s, so they appear to have kept this older feature for a little while longer - I would say these are late 1970's shoes with that burgundy colour.

Thank you, very interesting. This makes me even more excited that this pair is my size!
