Vintage Chanel sweater dress - Authentic or not? Please help!

Hi everyone, recently found this forum and this is my first post here :)

Could anyone help me authenticate (or trash!) this Chanel sweater dress, please?

The only tag is the label tag which seem authentic as well as a small hang tag that says "Fabrique en Italie. No size, content/care tag. The label is only attached with single stitches on each side, I'm not sure if this was the norm in the 80's or if the label had come off and the re-attached for some reason. It looks and feels like real nice wool knit, fully lining. The buttons say 'Chanel-Rue-Cambon-Paris' and are also labeled 'Chanel' on their back side.

Any oppinions? I don't think it looks like something that would be faked, espacially since it is clearly an older piece - 80's based on the label resource here but I do know that everything can be faked and authentic tags/buttons can be sewn onto any garment.

I've had this item now for several months and haven't been able to find anything similar so was pretty sure it's a fake until today, when I spotted an identical dress (just different colors) on ebay, on a listing that just ended. (listing link removed by Admin) Seeing that listing made me think there is a chance my is authentic as well so I decided to come here and ask for your oppinions.. So, what do you all think? Any ideas/thoughts/info will be greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you for the reply. I understand you can not authenticate anything, but I appreciate any input offered on this dress :)

Here are the pictures of the back of buttons and button holes - Hope this helps!

The button holes appear to be nicely finished for ready to wear. Unfortunately, I cannot make out the back of the buttons
to read what it says or to see if there are any symbols.
