Vintage DIOR Croc or Gator?

Hello again! I know the rule dot croc etc. but these are giving me the one over, they have a dot but not in the middle of the scales. Any ideas? Vintage Dior Stilettos, not sure of the date, but I LOVE them! Thanks,

Those are awesome. The follicle on a crocodile scale is not in the middle though.

I can't help on the croc or gator question (and I look forward to what others have to say), but after going thru some shoe books, I think these may be a fairly recent model.

l think it looks like a marriage of reptile skins....but the centre is is a long cell structure so probably caiman? cut to create that pattern.....hollis' link helps to confirm this....

Wow, Caiman, unreal, very exciting. I'm glad to hear that you think they are recent. I thought so too, but was thrown off by the inside dior label. Yes, they do look good with my banner!

I don't know if I would call them vintage however... they look like they might be 5 years old at most.
