Well, I was confused about that Union label--I thought that particular one was used for a limited period of time, but it was used beyond the 70s for sure. However, though this looks at first glance like it "should" be 80s, it's got a late 70s feel to the skirt. The length and fall of the tiers along with the overall silhouette of the skirt look like what was being done in the late 70s. In the 80s, I seem to recall that the tiers got "flouncier" and shorter, and the look was "perkier" than this. Though the bodice does look a bit more 80-ish. The big flower at the hip I've seen in both eras. So, maybe a solid cusper?
