Vintage Fair Recommendation

Hello,

I'm new here and hopefully looking for some advice. I have collected vintage fashion and accessories for a few years as my hobby, but now I'm looking to sell some of my collection (no more wardrobe space left) :). I love the idea of have a stall at a vintage fair, market or show to sell my wares. I've had a look online but there seem to be quite a few around the UK. I wandered if any fellow vintage fashion collectors have had good/bad experiences with vintage fairs and if they could recommended a good one. I'm in Buckinghamshire but don't mind traveling.

Many Thanks in Advance xx

I would start with a smaller local fair rather than one of the big chain fairs to begin with. (as it will be cheaper, you tend to get better value with regards to space and it's less frantic to deal with).
Depending on which part of Buckinghamshire you're in VintageInThe Shires could be fairly close by. They trade at Northampton, Market Harborough, Stamford, Olney, Leamington Spa & Stratford Upon Avon. I haven't attended but a friend has. They are nice villagey affairs both indoors and out weather permitting. Usually inside Tudor pubs and the like.

Hi Melanie and Ruth,

Thankyou both for your advice, which is much appreciated! A smaller fair does sound a good idea to start with, I will keep my eyes peeled for smaller upcoming events (The Vintage In The Shires does looks good). Thankyou again and hope you both have a lovely weekend! :)
