I thought you might be interested in knowing that the Guardian news paper is running today a article called :-
Who doesn't want to look like Marilyn?'
it's about vintage fashion wearing today.

You can read some of it here on line . http://www.guardian.co.uk/women/story/0,,2112304,00.html.

I will try and get the full article scanned in sometime in the future so any one who has not got access to the paper can read it.

"I really don't think that the vintage look would be so big without the internet," notes Halford. "When I was growing up in Plymouth we had one vintage shop, one alternative club and that was it. Now you can shop for vintage clothes world wide."

How true! I think of all my "stuff" and realize just how much of it I've gotten through internet connections.

Thanks, Paul. It was great reading an article about vintage that really was about VINTAGE, and not vintage-inspired clothing.

What I like about is:-
a) They real people and nice ladies also.
b) It was a national news paper.

Any thing that brings vintage to the forefront like this is good in my view.
