Hi all!

I'm having a hard time identifying this fur... I'm leaning towards Martens or just plain ol' mink.

Also -- keyword help appreciated. Would you consider this "cropped"? When I picked this out, I thought it was a cape! Only when I took it out to photograph did I discover that it actually has wide half sleeves!
Anyone have any thoughts?

Oh Kristine, I do suck at the fur questions.. Can see why you thought it was a cape initially. I think if the sleeves are the same length as the coat then you would be justified in calling it cropped.

(Hoping someone more helpful wanders by.... :BAGUSE: )

I agree with cropped as far as style - but really sometimes its hard to tell when its not on a body - manni or human where it actually sits - I can't help otherwise though

yes , l second/third it mink..the darker line is not stark and glaring as in musquash and marmot!! its lovely..

Sorry it took me so long to get back here! Holidays and all -- well... YOU know!

Anyway... yes, the color is fur on both sides. You can wear it straight up, if you wanted to.

I went with mink (with a disclaimer that this was only my best guess and that I couldn't promise that's what it was!) and did include "fur" in the title.

Thanks, gals! I very much appreciate the help! ;)
