Vintage Furs - no label

I believe these were my grandmothers. No one who would know is alive anymore.

There are no labels. Still in good condition.

The full size coat is very heavy.

I have put off figuring out these coats. Hopefully someone can help.

looks like mouton. 1940s.

I agree, mouton on the first. The second looks like velvet. Can you take more pictures?

Mouton is correct on the coat.
On the cape can you access the underside to see if there are actual pelts?
The collar looks like fur but the cape itself looks more like a panne velvet to me.

Again amazing. I took out a couple of stitches and found it to be velvet.
