Vintage Furs

Hi there, I can't tell if this is real fur or not. It feels like real fur. Any guesses as to what?

The tag only has information pertaining to the lining.

Your lovely jacket looks very similar to a few I found by googling the words Carole Little fur jacket. The examples state it is rabbit fur but we have some expert people here who will likely confirm this for you.

Hi,

Can you show us a close up or two of the fur? That will help us determine if it is real or faux fur.

Carole Little did some wonderful, faux fur jackets and swing coats in the late 80s or thereabouts.

Your fur almost looked like a sheared fur in your photos. Also reminds me a bit of of mole fur which is very soft.

It is real. Can you show a photo of the back of the jacket please?

I was able to find another jacket just like this except it had much more wear and was able to see the pelts in back to confirm that yours is sheared rabbit.
