Vintage Furs

Hi all.

Can anyone advise me on what to do with a couple of vintage fur coats I collected from my family's cold storage? I think they are no longer legal to sell, but these are from the 60s and 70s, and have been in storage probably since the early 80s. I have no idea what to do with them. Can anyone please advise?

Our resident fur expert Caryn @furwise can advise better than I, however I believe you can donate then to animal rescues to provide comfort and warmth to injured or orphaned wildlife. The donation is usually tax deductible. Here is one, and another

The first one I'm not sure of because I cannot see enough of the spotting to be certain. The second is leopard with a mink fur collar. Both what Jolene said and what Marsha said are great choices.
Rehab facilities such as Cuddle Coats and Born Free USA accept donations.
Marsha's got you on the film production info as while it's not legal to commercially trade leopard fur it can be donated and worn in productions.
