Vintage GUESS Club jeans, what's the story?

Hello,

I just purchased some vintage GUESS jeans today at a thrift store and I was attempting to find out more about them, but the harder I looked the more I became frustrated. I cannot find anything like them on the internet! They are labeled GUESS Club Jeans and I am almost positive they are from the 80's. Can anyone help me figure out the story behind them and why there aren't any other "Guess Club Jeans" online?

Probably because the Guess Club range was a short lived brand, it looks like they didn't trademark Guess Club Jeans U.S.A. but it may have been covered by one of the other trademarks, since they appear to have covered all the other labels shown on your jeans.
The only trademark that came up for a Guess Club search was for it's use on T-shirt and sweatshirts and that was only valid between 1986-1994: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4801:1wwp3p.2.1
Guess Jeans U.S.A has been in use since 1988: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4801:1wwp3p.4.3
