Vintage Handbag?

I’m brand new to vintage fashion (and by brand new I mean literal days) and came across this cute little handbag in my local flea market for only nine dollars. It claims to be reptile skin from the 1950s, but seems to be in too good a shape to be that old? Does anyone recognize the label?

Its a lovely handbag. I looks 1950's to me. It might be an embossed leather, made to imitate a reptile. I am not sure.

So it looks like 1950s? I was shocked it was so cheap and in such good condition. Flea markets really are treasure hunts

50s bags aren't really that uncommon, I find them at thrift stores all the time. Real leather ones are less common IME.
