Vintage Izod Lacoste cardigans?

Anybody familiar with these? I was looking to get some cardigans online, so I was looking at simple things like number of buttons and crocodile placement to check for authenticity. There are a few different tags (different years), but even with ones with the same tag, none of them were the same.

Also, is there anywhere I could find some official pictures licensed from Izod lacoste? Whenever I google search pictures come up from ebay and the like.

Izod is now owned by the Phillips-Van Heusen Company; perhaps you can find something on their site and/or contact them.

They've had lots of labels with different designations over the years. Have you checked our label resource (link, "Labels," is at top of page)? You might find it pretty helpful!

The label resource was helpful, however the label I'm mostly seeing is this one, which I actually didn't see on the Izod or Lacoste pages.

The discrepancies I was wondering about were how some had 5 buttons instead of 6 and some had the croc near the buttons, while on the others it was aligned on the breast area.

I guess the best thing would probably be to shoot them an email.

Funny you should bring this up, I just acquired one today! Mine has a label similar to what you posted EXCEPT the I in Izod is still shaped like a spool and has thread running off of it. I'm thinking it's a bit older than the label you show.
