Vintage Jc Penny swimsuit

Hi.
I found this vintage JC Penny swimsuit in a box of my mother's things. The label looks like a label in the label resource guide that is described as a mid 1970s jumpsuit label. Am I right to assume this bathing suit is mid 1970s as well? If anyone can tell me what the style is called, I would be grateful. Thanks!

Hi, Yes I'd say your swimsuit was 1970s, and I'd call it a skirted swimsuit.
