I am certainly not knowledgeable about Japanese kimonos and have some of my own to figure out in the very near future, but I wonder if those small round circular designs are family crests. There looks like one center back which is where one is on
my personal black Haori(short kimono). I see what looks to be family crests on the upper front panels on yours, too. On the back of the sleeve, maybe? The crests could be a clue in finding out more about the origins of your kimono. There is quite a
bit of info online about the crests. Wish I could help you more and can only say further that your kimono is very pretty! Hope someone else will be able to help you date it.
