vintage knit dress - dating help needed

I have a vintage knit dress that I'm unsure about the era. The bodice looks 1950s, but the overall shape of the dress looks later. No tags. It's knit from a hot pink yarn with interwoven silver metallic threads. Thoughts? (It's been pinned on my dress form, but I preserved the overall shape of the dress.)

Nicely made: late '50s to early '60s depending on the skirt length. Can you tell us how long it is please?

Thanks! The skirt length is about 25". The length of the dress from the top of the shoulder strap to the bottom of the skirt is about 43"
