I concur.Of limited value, due to the small size.Quite a lot of small deadstock floating around.

Thanks all.

Low value meaning not really worth anything over whatever someone would pay as a novelty pair?

If I was selling them in my shop(in the UK),I would put them out at 25-30GBP

I really dont know the value, but 25-30 GBP doesn't sound too bad to me.

Also if the waist is 29 inches, that is not really small at all. I don't think the size will affect the overall value in a negative way.

When you are talking about vintage denim, anything under a 30" waist is going to be easier to find.Like shoes,mid-range sizes tend to sell quickly, leaving stores with small or oversized dead stock.29" isn't that small, but is still small. The size is important, when considering value.A couple of sizes bigger could double or even treble the price, due to scarcity.Of course, the value is based on what I have observed in my store, and the dealings I have had with sellers in Europe and Japan over the last 20 years. It could be totally different in your corner of the world. If it is,please let me know.I would love to find a lucrative market for my small deadstock 70's denim.

For an idea about dollar price, and to see what I mean about sizes check:

Remember,these are dealer prices.

Interesting comments bandito: you don't mention if your shop is online or a brick and mortar, but I find in my Australian retail shop, it's the small sizes that are the most popular. Especially size 6 and 8 (US 2 and 4), I can't get enough of. Yes, I have bigger customers too (I stock up to size 20) but it can be hard to convince them that the larger items will look good as large size vintage rarely has hanger appeal.

Of course, this is part of the reason that I'm setting up a webstore: larger sizes will sell better online.

I have a bricks and mortar store, but wholesale and supply other shops.I also occaisionally sell items at online auctions.
I think I may have edited my post whilst you were posting your reply. It might be worth checking the link I posted in my edited post for an illustration of how the size thing affects price.

I don't think the size will be a problem - 29" waist is a reasonable size for a gal. I am not saying its an average size, but its not a too tiny size at all. I find that things are a harder sell if the waist is smaller than 25" in casual clothing - then it is extremely hard unless its highly collectible or very special.
