Vintage (not clothing) question- BF Goodrich Ice Cap? (pics!)

So I just couldn't pass this up today, probably the deco-esque box that I fell head over heels for. I also love that it reminded me of all those old black and whites where "the morning after" someone has this on top of their head!

So it's not vintage clothing (boo!) but it is vintage (woot!). A Miller "Black Beauty Ice Cap", part of the Goodrich company, so it says on the side of the box. Stamped Made in U.S.A., attached metal screwtop cap.

Any ideas as to age (my guess 20's/30's?) or any other bits-o-info would be mucho appreciated!

What category do you guys think it should go in? There are a zillion categories it could go in and none seem "right"....

No. Not tires, and it's not an insulator. More like a hot water bottle or ice bag, a medical collectible. I'd list under

Collectibles> Science, Medical> Medicine, Dentistry> Medical Devices

or

Health & Beauty > Health Care > Hot & Cold Therapies

or

Antiques > Science & Medicine > Medical
