Vintage? or Newer?

This was purchased at an estate sale in a bag with vintage fabric, some 60s dresses, a 40s silk nightgown - and this.

It has never been worn, as it still has a bag with extra buttons attached to the armpit area, however the label has been removed. I think it is a dress, but I like it with jeans.

70s? 80s? newer? I really don't have a clue on this one.

Not sure on the date, Sue. Is that embroidery at the hem and sleeves? It looks very nice. And I love it with jeans, too. When you list it, I would include both pictures.

Hi Gail, yes the sleeves and hem are embroidered - very subtle but
striking looking.

I love it with jeans! (of course I live in jeans, so I'm biased )

90's. I remember wearing the dress style top with jeans or leggings and boots. It was all the rage when I was in high school in the 90's.

I'm leaning toward 90s, too. It reminds me of the stuff theysold in Pier 1 for awhile. Does Pier 1 even still have a clothing section?

I think you can safely call it retro 70s / BOHO / Hippie.
And I'd like to cast another vote for the jeans look! :D
