i found this exact one yesterday in my own closet, from when i was a kid, looked it up and someone was selling it for 60 bucks orso.

Do you have any idea on the year of these based on when you would have wore them as a kid?

yeah i was wearing this around 1987 and they were bought new at that time

I find none like yours (sometimes called railroad/engineer stripe) that SOLD on eBay for over $35 and there are several currently up for sale for $12-15.
Perhaps you can educate us on what you've "read and seen" that indicates they are rare? I may be missing something as children's vintage is not an area I've dealt in for quite a while.
I wish I'd kept all the OshKosh overalls from my own kids in the 1980s-2000s, some of the little girls novelty ones bring very good prices!
