Vintage Plastics Question - Clutch

Hi again ! I found this beauty, but I'm not sure what the material would be called and what era. I was thinking early 50s ? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi! That's really cute, but questions: is this a hard-surface material or soft? Can we see a photo of the back? And the inside if possible? What sort of closure or snap is under the flap (better if you can show it)? More exterior views might help! Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response ! The material is hard, and its kind of tiled onto a leather backing as you can see in the side view, so all the sides are hard ( front, closure, back) except the sides which are leather.

I think the magnetic clasp would put this into the 80's at least.

Agree with Melanie on the date/clasp. Has yours got a strap? I think it's early '80s.

I had a bag like this once, it was lucite.

Yes it does have a strap, I do see 80s now, kind of has a 40s style. Is there any sort of name for the type of plastic ?

Thanks for the additional shots, and I agree with lucite as the plastic material. And, with the strap and magnetic clasp, I think 80s as well--early, I think....
