Vintage Ralph Lauren - Blue Label Script Lettering

I have a black Ralph Lauren tuxedo coat with an ACTWU union label in it. The label is blue with gold script lettering. I am having a hard time getting information about this tag. date, quality, value etc. Does anyone out there have any info they can share?

The information I founds says ACTWU was in existence from 1976 to 1995. That would mean the oldest your jacket could be is 1976 - labels were sometimes used for a few years after becoming obsolete, so figure newest as mid-to-late 90s.

Formalwear can be tough to date, mostly sticking to classic details and silhouettes. Hopefully someone else will weigh in here.
