what is the raised pattern on the fabric called?
I forget :(

no fabric content, any ideas? it feels like a cotton blend but it has a medium weight and a bit of a sheen, but not really shiny

That is lovely. I think it is an early 60's one. Very unusual it might be made from candlewick type fabric, does it feel slightly furry to the touch?

it does not feel like candlewick, more like a jackuard or embossing

on the private side a couple of the members told me that it looked like Matelasse', it has a medium weight with a bit of a stiff yet soft hand and a little sheen, does that make sense? lol! they also dated it as 40's
