Hi, and thanks for posting! First off these are INCREDIBLE SHOES!!! I love them so much (and they're my size LOL)
I have been digging around and looking at all of the eras and styles of the Stanley Philipson line of shoes. A lot of his shoes have nods to other eras. The label inside your shoes I was only able to find on one other pair - on Esty, credit to the seller angelinesattic- dated to 1950's.
My first inclination when just looking at yours was late 50's to early 60's based on the shape and sole. But yours are in such amazing condition I really second guessed that. Plus, they have a definite 80's vibe, but this style has also been redone over the years, including and most notably, a Christian Louboutin version.
A Talbot's Version
And a Guess Version
And while they may still be 80's, I was not able to locate that label on any of the other clearly 80's shoes from this line. But I was able to locate a very similar pair of booties in all black, by the same maker. However, the listing was no longer active, I was able to pull the info they provided which should be helpful because they had the original box and store tag that dated theirs to the 60's.- credit to the seller, who I was not able to locate the information for.
"Vintage 60s Stanley Philipson Suede Booties- Vintage 60s Stanley Philipson Suede Booties EUC. Vintage 60s Stanley Philipson Suede Booties. Size 7 1/2 M. There is some wear at the bottom of the heels and is pictured. Original box is included with this sale. It isn't in new condition. It has some corners that are ripped and there is writing on the box. Original Price tag from Russel and Holmes is still attached to the box."
They do also look like a cross between a 50's and a 60's boot. (Thanks to VintageDancer!)
That is just my 2 cents, and I could be way off. We have some amazing shoe experts here that I hope will also chime in as I am very curious as well!
