Hi guys, I was wondering do any of you know any good vintage stores in LA or Las Vegas? I am heading there at the end of August and I like to do a bit of vintage shopping wherever I go.

LA - So many to list. Very good prices: Aardvarks, Buffalo Exchange, American Vintage, Elsewhere Vintage (technically Orange County)

High end - The Way We Wore, Jet Rag, Flounce, Squaresville

Too bad you'll be here at the end of August because the Pasadena Rose Bowl happens mid August

Vegas - I only shop at Buffalo Exchange

Hey Sandra, thanks for the info, I am not going to know where to start! Not so sure my finace will be so keen on all the vintage shopping, but we will have a car so that will make things easier, I hope. We are actually driving from LA to Las Vegas!

Emma, I'm off to Vegas with my sister in mid September--if you find any great vintage places to haunt, let me know, 'cuz she loves vintage almost as much as I do! Actually, she's the one who got me started with vintage apparel specifically, though I'd been collecting/wearing vintage jewelry for a long time (and collecting anything else vintage I could get my hands on, just not clothing).

So, I'm sure she'd love to check out any neat places if you find some!

I was in Las Vegas in April and DH and I made a trip to The Attic. I don't remember the street name but it is near the old downtown part of Vegas. They had lots of vintage mixed with modern retro style. Prices were OK for personal buying on some things....not for resale purposes though. If you go really check out the condition as I saw lots of issues that were not disclosed on the tags.

There is an amazing vintage shop in the, excuse the spelling, Piazza in Vegas.I can't remember the name off hand but it has an amazing collection, but very pricey

Annie Creamcheese.

I would imagine her prices would HAVE to be very high, considering the location.

I'm sure the shop is very nice - although I had a bad experience with the owner last year at Rose Bowl. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Bleh.

My store is, indeed, in Old Towne Orange -- not far from Disneyland. There is a LOT of shopping here -- 7 antique malls, a couple independent antique shops & one other vintage clothing store aside from my own.
We're at 133 W Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92866

I'm rarely here in the next week-- but if you make it this way try to let me know and maybe we can grab a quick cup of coffee :)

Definitely! It's now nicknamed "Retro Row" and it's located on 4th St between Cherry & Junipero. Right in my backyard. We considered opening a shop there, too.

Kristine,
I will definately give you a shout if I make it out your way. I should let my sister know about Long Beach too, she is staying in Lakewood right now and is there for another month. I will have to get her to scope out the area for me.
