Vintage Wedding Dresses?

Although it shouldn't matter with air conditioned churches, etc., it really does matter if they are short sleeve/sleeveless or long sleeved.

When I sold wedding dresses which I have now almost completely given up because of the storage problems, I would start sleeveless ones as soon after the New Year as possible and long sleeved ones early summer.

My advice is to get them all listed and put in your store so if someone wants one, even if their wedding is not until another year, they will be able to choose.

l usually do a spring time promotion!! a smany people seem to prefer tis timeof year...and get engaged at xmas...but maybe thats just my take!!

I'm glad you asked this Bonnie...I have enough space in storage for the gowns I have collected, but I don't really know how best to show them or when. I mostly ended up purchasing 30s to 40s gowns, and I see these don't do so well on eBay.

I had a 50s gown (embroidered sheer linen...absolutely gorgeous!) in my eBay store at $150 for about 6 months before an Australian girl talked me into layaway, which worked out fine. I think a store/website comes in handy for letting such a special item sit and wait for the right person to find it.
