Our nonprofit (Woodland Action Thrift & Gift) that supports
the local food bank received a donation of this stunning wedding train. I have NO related expertise. Please help me describe & price. 71/2 ft long. Appears to attach at shoulders/neckline (shown in photo). White sateen with 4 layers of tulle, the last of which has blush satin vertical ribbons. Applique lace medallions sprinkled with pearls and sequins along ribbons and around bottom hem. The top underside includes an inside sateen cape with 2 layers of tulle. The bottom underside of this inside cape is also embellished -- so if the bride's arms swing out, you see a pretty inside edge. Inside neckline includes a tab with the number 6 on it, so it appears to not be handmade. Possibly 1950's or 60's? I.m thinking we'll offer it on the Internet rather than on our thrift store floor. Ideas re: description, vintage, pricing, where to post for sale? Thanks so much.
