Vintage William Cahill Wedding Dress How to Sell

How do you go about pricing, shipping and selling a vintage William Cahill wedding dress to vintage fashion stores?
I bought this lovely dress and it unfortunately does not fit me. I would like to see it go to a good home, but do not want to just sell one item on ebay, etc. I have never sold a vintage fashion online below and just began buying vintage this year.
There seems to be just one back button missing and yellowing on the dress.
I do not know what the sizing is.
Thank you all for your help.

Cin is right, you could sell in a Facebook group. Also to consider: Since you are not familiar with selling and don't want to sell just one item on eBay (etc.), you could possibly consign the dress. I would consign somewhere in your town if that is feasible.

Vintage wedding gowns (even beautiful ones like yours) are difficult to sell, so I wish you luck.

It's a beautiful dress and from what I can see of it, an easy restoration back to it's former glory. William Cahill is a well sought after designer in vintage bridal. If you have a vintage bridal shop located near you then you are in luck. You should have no problem selling this dress to them or consigning it. If you don't want to tackle selling it online yourself, I would go to Etsy and search vintage bridal gowns. You can contact the owners of different shops directly and see if any of them want to purchase the dress.

To price it, search Etsy for mid century wedding gowns and research comparable prices. Factor in that yours needs to be cleaned, so charge less than a completely restored bright white gown.

To ship it, whoever is receiving it will expect it to be wrinkled. A large or extra large vacuum sealed space bag (which you can get at Walmart) is a great way to get the dress down to a reasonable shipping size. Shipping is expensive, so make sure you have it packed and weighed so you know how much to charge for shipping. Hope that helps !

Thank you very much! Are there any Facebook groups you recommend?

I had no idea there were specifically vintage bridal stores. I am going to try some of your suggestions. Thank you so much!

You would measure the dress flat on a table. Bust, Waist, etc.

What Facebook groups... there are so many. If you can, get into Ooh La La and read the listing rules very carefully. That would be a good one.
I just asked to join those facebook groups. I haven't had that much anxiety since I took the SAT exam in 1985..lol
